ANGLO-SAXON CHARTERS

BIBLIOGRAPHY 1970-90

There follows a list of books and articles which deal in one way or another with the evidence of Anglo-Saxon charters, published between 1970 and 1990; books and articles published in 1991-7 will be added when the opportunity allows. The entries are drawn ultimately from the annual bibliographies published in Anglo-Saxon England 1 (1972) - 20 (1991), and more immediately from electronic files created from these bibliographies and edited by Dr Andy Orchard. The complete series of ASE bibliographies will be published on CD-ROM in due course: A Bibliography of Anglo-Saxon Studies 1971-95, ed. Andy Orchard (Cambridge, forthcoming).
