In the light of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, we have moved all of our residential programmes online, where we will deliver engaging and interactive academic content virtually, in keeping with current guidelines.

Every year, Trinity College runs a number of residential programmes for students and teachers, keen to explore their subject outside of school and experience what it would be like to study at a top university. Students stay in college accommodation, meet current students and have taster lectures, seminars and supervisions in a variety of subjects. They also have the opportunity to explore the city, and take part in a number of social activities during the week. The residentials are entirely free, including accommodation and all food, and funds are available to cover transport costs to and from Cambridge if necessary.

Arts and Humanities Residential 2023

Trinity College’s Arts and Humanities Residential will bring to Cambridge budding students, like you, from 31 July to 3 August. Attendees will experience university life: from staying in student accommodation, to experiencing taster supervisions, lectures and seminars, to researching, writing and submitting an essay. Participants will select an interdisciplinary topic to focus on throughout the residential, which will enable exploration of multiple possible degree subjects – and introduce subjects you may have never even heard of! There will be opportunities to speak to and work with current undergraduates, have all of your questions answered, and truly immerse yourself in every aspect of student life.

28TH JUNE – 2ND OF JULY 2021

An immersive, 4-day programme that aims to introduce highly able students to the benefits of studying languages at university. The residential will involve a series of (online) workshops designed to give a sample of studying languages at the University of Cambridge, taster sessions with Trinity College academics and expose students to the career opportunities available to graduates. The programme will feature a range of informative talks and Q&As, to give a flavour of studying languages as an undergraduate student, as well as the opportunity to sample the social and extracurricular side of being a linguist at Trinity.

16TH – 19TH AUGUST 2021

The Virtual Women in STEM residential is part of Trinity College’s annual offering to widen participation from women and non-binary students interested in STEM. We are committed to diversifying our STEM undergraduate cohorts and this residential is designed to inform, empower and inspire women and non-binary prospective scientists to make competitive applications to our array of science courses.
