Remembering Trinity in your Will

Under present legislation, the College’s charitable status makes it exempt for Inheritance Tax purposes. Any sum you bequeath to Trinity College will not only be free of tax, it may also reduce the overall tax liability due on your estate. By notifying us of your intention to remember Trinity in your will, you will also be eligible to join the Great Court Circle, Trinity’s legacy society.

You can find a pledge form [here] if you would like to inform Trinity of your legacy plans.  If you would like suggested wording on how to include Trinity in your will, you can find it [here].

Please contact the Alumni Relations & Development Office if you would like to be sent a copy of our legacy brochure or would like further advice about leaving a gift in your will to Trinity College.

The Great Court Circle

Membership of the Great Court Circle honours those who decide to remember Trinity in their will.  It is our way of recognising, and thanking our members for their intended gift to the College.

All members of the Great Court Circle are invited to an annual luncheon in College, on a Saturday or Sunday, typically in April, May or June.  Lunch is usually served in the Hall and is followed by afternoon activities.

The next Great Court Circle Luncheon will take place on Sunday April 10 2016 and all members of the society will receive an invitation approximately 3 months prior to the event.
