Remembering Trinity in your Will

After meeting commitments to loved ones and dependants, you may choose to remember other causes and organisations that played a significant part in shaping your life. For over 250 alumni, leaving a legacy to Trinity College will become the most enduring gift of all.

In addition to the impact such gifts have on the College, any sum you bequeath to Trinity is not only free of tax, it may also reduce the overall tax liability due on your estate. By notifying us of your intention to remember Trinity in your will, you will also be welcomed into the Great Court Circle, Trinity’s legacy society.

To learn more about making a provision for Trinity in your will, we encourage you to download our Legacy Brochure, Codicil Form, and Legacy Pledge Form.

To receive paper copies of our brochure and forms, or to learn more about leaving a legacy to Trinity College, please contact the Alumni Relations & Development Office.

The Great Court Circle

The Great Court Circle was founded to celebrate those who decide to remember Trinity in their will. In appreciation for their intended gift, all members are invited to an annual luncheon in College, followed by afternoon activities. The next Great Court Circle luncheon will be held on Saturday 1 April 2017.

Why I Give… by Richard Bayley (1978)

“Without a doubt Trinity College helped to prepare me exceptionally well for adult life and a City career. The rigorously intellectual education, the exposure to such a socially mixed student community and the rare privilege of one-to-one supervisions made the three years at Trinity for me unforgettable and transformational.”
