Wesley Kerr (1976) OBE is a freelance broadcaster and writer, and a keen historian and horticulturist. He read History at Trinity.

From 2007, Wesley has been Chairman at the Heritage Lottery Fund Committee for London. Prior to that, he was Chairman HLF London Parks for People Committee (with BIG) 2007-2009 and served on the Member RHS Chelsea Show Garden Panel 2011-13.

As a broadcaster, Wesley lead BBC TV’s Diamond Jubilee coverage, ‘How Britain got the Gardening Bug’, BBC America’s ‘Royally Mad’, Radio 4’s ‘When Wesley went to Winchester’, and Wars of the Roses.

Wesley was brought up by foster parents in Middlesex and Hampshire. After winning a scholarship to Winchester College, he matriculated at Trinity in 1976. Wesley was awarded an OBE in 2015 for services to heritage.
