DESCRIPTION:[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=””] \nThe next Trinity Golf Day sees the Society return to something of a spiritual home over at Royal Worlington & Newmarket Golf Club on Thursday 3 September and registrations are now open below. \nThis beautiful 9-hole course was voted best 9-hole golf course in the world by Golf Magazine in 2020 (shortly before our last visit there as the Trinity Golf Society in 2021). The course continues to be home to the Cambridge University Golf Society. \nRegistrations are now open for golfers of all abilities to join us for a day of friendly and lightly-competitive golf. The Stableford scoring system will be in use\, ensuring a fun day for low- and high-handicappers alike\, and the day’s highlights will no doubt be discussed over a drink upon the conclusion of the round. \nFollowing the golf\, we shall return to Trinity for an enjoyable three-course dinner (with wine) and hand out the prizes for longest drive and nearest the pin\, before crowning this year’s winner of the Sandy Bradbrook Trophy. \nThe timetable for the day will be as follows: \n12pm-1pm Arrival\, sandwiches and tea/coffee at Royal Worlington & Newmarket Golf Club \n1pm-1.48pm Tee times (18 holes) \n5.15pm-6.15pm Post-round refreshments \n7.45pm-9.30pm Dinner & prize giving at Trinity College \nIf you cannot stay for dinner\, it is possible to join the golf only. Although Mark recently stepped away from his role as CEO of WPP – the world’s largest advertising company – he continues to be at the forefront of technology in business and\, in particular\, the AI space. \nMark is a Trinity alumnus himself\, and we are hugely looking forward to this opportunity to benefit from his insights into one of the fastest moving sectors in business. \nThe talk and Q&A will be followed by a drinks and networking reception. \n————- \nMark is passionate about the role of technology in business and is currently advising a number of AI companies. In November 2025\, Mark became Chair of Fifty5Blue (previously Kantar Media).
