Read about Mentoring Month 2024.  \nOur alumni community is made up of brilliant people across a huge variety of industries who are willing to guide current students on their paths beyond Trinity. In Mentoring Month\, current students are paired with volunteer mentors who provide valuable insights into the students’ preferred careers whilst supporting the development of skills necessary to achieve their aspirations. \nMentoring relationships are not just a way to give and receive advice; they are a chance to build connections that could last a lifetime and Trinity is committed to supporting our students to create these networks and foster supportive relationships. Meeting times are flexible but we ask that you and your mentee commit to a minimum of three sessions over the month – one to set goals\, one to check progress and one to look towards the future. \nFormat: We encourage everyone to conduct their 1-on-1 meetings on our online alumni engagement platform\, Trinity Connect. This platform is designed to make mentoring a personable and effective process. If you already have a profile\, we will add you to the programme. DESCRIPTION:POSTPONED: Trinity dinner on Friday 27 March 2026 at 6pm in Tokyo\nAmbassador Ra Jong Yil (Trinity 1967) will join us again on Friday 27 March 2026 at 6pm\n\n6:00pm – 8pm dinner\n8:30pm – nijikai\n\nRegistration and prepayment before 20 March 2026. I will send location and pre-payment details to those who register. \nAmbassador Ra Jong Yil (Trinity 1967)\nAmbassador Ra Jong Yil graduated with a PhD from Trinity\, and held a long list of leadership positions in the South-Korean government\, including National Security Advisor to President Roh Moohyun\, a ministerial position\, deputy director of the South Korean National Intelligence Service\, Ambassador to the UK and to Japan\, and President of Woosuk University (a private University with about 8000 students). He is University Distinguished Professor at Gachon University. \nTo register:\nAll Trinity College Cambridge Fellows\, students\, alumni or members living in or visiting Japan are more than welcome to join us.
