DESCRIPTION:[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=””]\nLifeline Musical – Talk\, Reception and Performance\n[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=””]Lifeline is a musical that tells two stories in parallel – the discovery of penicillin by Alexander Fleming which changed the face of medical care\, and the challenge currently facing the world of antimicrobial resistance where the effectiveness of this life-saving medicine is under threat – using a cast of actors and medical professionals. \nOriginating at the Edinburgh Fringe before transferring to an ‘off-Broadway’ run\, the show now lands at the Southwark Playhouse Elephant in London for a limited run\, and we have a special rate for Trinity alumni to attend this special show on Tuesday 28 April. The Master\, Professor Dame Sally Davies\, is the UK Special Envoy on Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) and has been supportive of the show throughout its development\, and will join us at this event to talk more about the challenges of AMR. \nProgramme \n6.00pm – Drinks Reception \n6.15pm – Remarks by The Master\, Professor Dame Sally Davies \n7.00pm – Performance commences \n9.30pm – Close \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nPricing – the cost is £30 per ticket.
