The Winstanley Lecture Hall is in the Blue Boar Court which can be accessed from Whewell’s Court on Trinity Street opposite the Great Gate.

Professor Andrew Cole is a theorist and medievalist who directs the Gauss Seminars in Criticism at Princeton. The Middle Ages are a primary interest for Professor Cole whose most recent book is The Birth of Theory (Chicago, 2014). He has been a Guggenheim Fellow, a Visiting Fellow at All Souls College at the University of Oxford, and a Bloomfield Fellow at Harvard University.


The Winstanley Lecture Theatre is a fully-equipped audio-visual theatre, with seating for up to 150 people.


To reach it, turn into Whewell's Court from Trinity Street. Turn right immediately after the first arch and climb the stone stairs. At the top of the stairs, follow the path round the ziggurat-like Wolfson building, leaving it to your left. Then turn right into Blue Boar Court. The Winstanley Lecture Theatre is on the east side of the Court.
