Language-based Humanities Residential

Overview

This residential will cover a broad range of humanities subjects which use the knowledge and skills gained from studying languages. It is ideal for students interested in studying the following (and related) subjects at Cambridge or other top universities: Modern and Medieval Languages, Asian and Middle Eastern Studies, Linguistics, Classics, Anglo-Saxon, Norse and Celtic. Whether you’ve already decided what to study at university, or you haven’t yet made up your mind, this residential will give you the chance to explore your interests, and try new subjects you might not be familiar with. The programme will run from Monday 14th August until Wednesday 16th August, during which time you’ll attend lectures and classes, taught by Cambridge academics, in a wide variety of different language-based subjects.
