Join the Trinity Law Association for their black tie biennial dinner in College featuring two prominent experts in their field.

The afternoon speaker will be Professor Catherine Barnard (e1996) Senior Tutor and Fellow in Law, whose topical presentation is entitled: They’re changing the Guard at the Palace of Westminster: Brexit and the Law.

There will be a drinks reception followed by dinner in Hall, where the guest speaker will be leading human rights barrister, Lord Lester of Herne Hill QC (1957) who will speak on the theme of his recent publication: Five Ideas to Fight For – how our freedom is under threat and why it matters. 

Booking costs:

£42 for alumni;

£62 non-alumni guests;

£25 for alumni whose matriculation is between 2006-2016;

£7.50 for current students

Professor Catherine Barnard is Professor of European Union Law and the Jean Monnet Chair of EU Law in the Faculty of Law at the University of Cambridge. Her research interests include European Union law, labour and discrimination law, and competition law.

Anthony Lester QC is Britain’s most eminent human rights lawyer. In 2007, he received the Liberty and Justice Judges Award for a Lifetime of Achievement in the service of human rights. He is a Liberal Democrat Peer and a frequent commentator on legal matters.
