Post-doctoral researchers across the University of Cambridge without another College affiliation are invited to join the Trinity Postdoctoral Society. Membership provides a collegiate environment where researchers can meet others from different disciplines, share ideas and enhance their Cambridge experience.
Scotland’s national poet, Jackie Kay, and Trinity PhD, student Parwana Fayyaz, will read and discuss their work in a free Trinity Literary Society event on Tuesday 26 November hosted by Ali Smith, Senior Fellow Commoner in the Creative Arts at the College.
Guy Gunaratne is the College’s 26th Visiting Fellow Commoner in the Creative Arts. In May 2018 he was awarded the International Dylan Thomas Prize for his debut novel In Our Mad and Furious City.
Professor Didier Queloz, Fellow of Trinity College, has been jointly awarded the 2019 Nobel Prize in Physics along with Professor James Peebles and Professor Michel Mayor for their pioneering advances in physical cosmology, and the discovery of an exoplanet orbiting a solar-type star.
