Colleagues have paid tribute to Sir Michael Atiyah, OM, FRS, who died on 11 January 2019 at the age of 89.
Trinity Fellow, Ewa Paluch, has won the 2019 Blavatnik Award in the Life Sciences. She joined the College last October when she became Professor of Anatomy in the University’s Department of Physiology, Development and Neuroscience. Robert Neild, Professor Emeritus of Economics, died peacefully at home shortly before Christmas at the age of 94. Educated at Trinity, he served as economic advisor to the Treasury in the 1960s and held other important posts before returning to Trinity as a Fellow in 1971.
