More than 100 female students and Fellows gathered in Trinity’s vast Hall early on Monday morning to mark the 40th anniversary of women’s admission to the College.
Political science student Sarah Lusack was inspired to organize a conference for Black and Minority Ethnic (BME) students after her experience of widening participation initiatives at Cambridge.
Towards dusk last Friday, students trickled into the ante-chapel. Clad in gowns, they were assembling for a special ceremony, the Admission of Scholars, which dates back to 1560.
