Housekeeping Room Attendant/Bedmakers (part-time 27.5 or 30 hours per week)

Trinity College founded by Henry VIII in 1546 is by far the largest and most impressive of all the Cambridge colleges. Staff can enjoy working in beautiful surroundings and within magnificent buildings which include the Great Court and Nevile’s Court. Staff total approximately 350, including full and part-time employees.

The College is seeking to appoint flexible and reliable permanent staff to join its friendly team. As part of the housekeeping team, your duties will involve cleaning and servicing student rooms, fellow’s rooms, guest rooms, communal areas and offices on a daily basis.

Ideally you will have experience which has been gained in a similar role but if you haven’t, don’t worry, as full training will be provided to all successful candidates. What matters to us is your approach to people and a genuine desire to do a good job.

As well as £9.01 per hour, we offer an attractive benefits package, which includes a housing allowance and free health care (subject to eligibility). Hours of work are either 27½ or 30 per week worked Monday to Friday, 5½hours or 6hours per day (start times between 0700 and 0800).

All applicants for jobs at Trinity College are asked to complete the College application form and Equal Opportunities Monitoring form.

Please note that if you are shortlisted and invited for interview, you will be required to prove eligibility to work in the UK and will be asked to bring original documentation with you. Please see the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act (2006) for further details.
