College Lectureship and Fellowship in Chemistry

Applications are invited for appointment to a College Lectureship in Physical & Theoretical Chemistry together with a Fellowship, tenable for five years in the first instance. The successful applicant will be expected to contribute significantly to teaching within the Cambridge Natural Sciences Tripos and to Direction of Studies.  The candidate will be expected to devote himself/herself to learning and research in his/her chosen field. There may be potential opportunities for University teaching (lecturing/demonstrating in practical classes) in the Department.

The Lectureship will require 12 hours of teaching per week during the 20 weeks of the undergraduate year. The starting salary, payable in addition to the university salary, will normally be on point 5 of the scale (£41,248 per annum).
