College Lectureship and Fellowship in Medical Sciences

Applications are invited for appointment to a College Lectureship in Medical Sciences together with a Fellowship, tenable for five years in the first instance, from 1 October 2019. The successful applicant will be expected to contribute significantly to teaching within the Cambridge Medical Sciences Tripos and to the direction of preclinical studies. Teaching is required for either Neuroscience or Pharmacology second year courses. Candidates should be research-active scientists who hold a full-time faculty position within the University or affiliated institutions.

The Lectureship will require 120 hours of teaching during the 20 weeks of the undergraduate year. The starting salary, payable in addition to the university salary, will normally be on point 5 of the scale (£9,520 per annum).
