Applications are invited for appointment to a College Lectureship in Medical Sciences together with a Fellowship, tenable for five years in the first instance. The successful applicant will be expected to contribute significantly to teaching within the Cambridge Medical Sciences Tripos and to Direction of Preclinical Studies. Candidates should be research-active scientists who hold a full-time faculty position within the University or affiliated institutions.
The Lectureship will require 120 hours of teaching during the 20 weeks of the undergraduate year. The starting salary, payable in addition to the university salary, will normally be on point 5 of the scale (£9,133 per annum).
Applicants should submit a covering letter; a curriculum vitae, including a statement of qualifications, publications, and teaching experience; and should also ensure that three referees (at least one from outside Cambridge) have been asked to submit references before the closing date of Monday 19 June 2017. Applications and references should be sent to the Senior Tutor at Trinity College, preferably by email to email@example.com.
For further details, see the Further Particulars.
Interviews are expected to be held on the morning of Tuesday 27 June 2017.
