The College is seeking to appoint a reliable and flexible Handyperson to join our Housekeeping team. You will carry out a range of cleaning duties in various communal areas and in the courts in order to maintain the Trinity environment. Principal duties will include the collection of rubbish, clearing spills, sweeping courts, moving furniture and other minor routine maintenance tasks. The post holder will therefore undertake physical repetitive manual activities which will often involve working outside.
You must be comfortable working as part of a team, as well as able to work independently, organising your time without continuous supervision. The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate the ability to be observant and deliver high standards of service. Good communication skills are essential, as the successful candidate must be able to communicate with a wide variety of people as well as follow written and verbal instructions.
The post holder must have a clean and tidy appearance. A uniform (including PPE) will be provided and should be worn at all times whilst working.
Standard working hours are 39 per week over 5 days on a rota which will include Saturday and Sunday every other week and occasional Bank Holidays.
Salary £21,624 per annum. In addition to the salary, we offer a benefits package, which includes contributory pension scheme, non-contributory health insurance and a meal whilst on duty.
