Handyperson (Works Department)

An opportunity has arisen at Trinity College for a Handyperson to join the Works Department. The post holder will assist in maintaining the structure, fixtures, fittings and appliances within College properties.  This involves working in some of the most historic and beautiful buildings in Cambridge.

Duties will include assisting with a variety of routine maintenance tasks either as and when they occur or because of works projects. The post holder will also assist with the compilation of the College room inventory, emergency lighting testing and oversee contractors when required.

The successful candidate should have good knowledge and experience gained in a building and/or technical services environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as is the ability to plan and prioritise.  The successful candidate must enjoy working flexibly as part of a team and is able to share ideas and experiences.

Salary: £22,250 per annum plus additional benefits, which include; subsidised gym, free lunch and Private Health and Dental care subject to eligibility.
