The College is seeking to appoint an experienced health and safety specialist to lead, manage and co-ordinate health and safety provisions to ensure an environment which is compliant with health and safety legislation, practices and guidelines. This new and exciting opportunity involves working in an historic, diverse and stimulating environment where the job holder will be expected to work closely with members of College to manage a programme of risk assessment, develop policies, procedures and practices and maintain systems which promote a safe working environment.
Applicants must hold the NEBOSH National Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety, possess excellent interpersonal and influencing skills and have the initiative to organise and lead audits and projects together with the ability to present proposals and training to a diverse audience. Experience of working with historic or listed buildings would be desirable.
