The College is seeking to appoint a reliable and flexible Handyperson to work one day a week (Friday). You will carry out a range of cleaning duties in various communal areas and in the courts in order to maintain the Trinity environment. Principal duties will include the collection of rubbish, clearing spills, sweeping courts, moving furniture and other minor routine maintenance tasks. The post holder will therefore undertake physical repetitive manual activities which will often involve working outside.
You must be comfortable working as part of a team, able to work independently and organise your time without continuous supervision. The successful candidate should be observant and able to deliver high service standards. Good communication skills are essential as you must be able to follow written and verbal instructions.
The post holder must have a clean and tidy appearance. A uniform (including PPE) will be provided and should be worn at all times whilst working.
Standard working hours are Friday 0730 to 1600 with an unpaid lunch break of ½ hour (8 hours).
Rate of pay £10.31 per hour. In addition, we offer a benefits package which includes contributory pension scheme, non-contributory health insurance and a meal whilst on duty.
