This is an exciting opportunity to join the Human Resources department and help make an impact as we continue our journey to continually improve and develop the way we provide a professional HR service across the College.
An experienced HR Advisor, you will play a critical role in supporting the Head of HR in the delivery of HR projects. You will be expected to take a lead role on specific project activities in order to offer appropriate solutions and best HR practise. You will identify research, develop and implement processes to provide for newly developed and developing HR processes and systems.
You will ideally hold a first degree and be CIPD qualified or be able to demonstrate equivalent HR experience. You will have a good knowledge of employment law and practise including a record of accomplishment of developing and improving HR processes and systems.
Able to drive and champion the role of HR you will have the skills and a track record of introducing change and innovative ways of working. You will have a positive outlook with an ability to identify relevant new opportunities and to work with others to develop and implement projects ensuring they are delivered successfully on time and through to conclusion.
Salary scale £16,800 – £19,200 (£28,000 – £32,000 pro rata) per annum, plus additional benefits.
Part time: 21.75 hours per week. Fixed term for a period of 3 years
