Pastry Section Chef

Trinity College is the largest of the Cambridge Colleges with a diverse community of over 700 undergraduates, 300  post-graduates, 180 Fellows and 350 staff.  We wish to appoint a  Pastry Section Chef  who will be responsible for producing innovative, high quality pastry dishes for  the College community.  Services  include dishes for students, staff and Fellows, private dinners and special functions.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with experience as a Pastry Chef to demonstrate and develop their skills in this fast moving, high quality, professional environment.

Applicants must be creative, enthusiastic and have a professional attitude to work.  Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a busy team are essential.  A good working knowledge of health, safety and hygiene together with awareness of special diets and nutrition are important.

Salary £21,906 – £24,785 per annum on an incremental scale plus 12% shift allowance and other benefits
