Personal Assistant – Senior Tutor’s Office

We are seeking to appoint a Personal Assistant to join our busy Tutorial department, providing a high standard of secretarial and administrative support to the  Senior Tutor and Tutorial Manager. Key responsibilities will include being the first point of contact for the Senior Tutor’s office, diary management, travel arrangements, management of the shared mailboxes, handling of routine correspondence together with the production and distribution of papers.

You must have excellent organisational and IT skills and be able to learn new systems quickly. As an experienced administrator you must be able to demonstrate highly developed written and verbal communication skills. You should enjoy working in a busy environment, like challenges and be able to use your own initiative. Experience of working in a Cambridge College or similar environment would be an advantage but not essential.  You must have experience of using technology effectively and creatively to enhance office systems and be able to handle and protect confidential information and sensitive data.

Salary scale £23,501 to £27,708 pa plus other benefits.
