Personal Assistant to the Junior Bursar

We are seeking an experienced Personal Assistant to provide high-level support to the Junior Bursar, who as a Senior College Officer and the ‘Chief Operating Officer’ of Trinity College, is a Fellow and a member of the College Council.

The appointment is multi-faceted.  As well as providing extensive professional assistance to the Junior Bursar, there is a high profile ‘front-of-house’ dimension to the role, together with wide-ranging clerical aspects, office management functions and administrative roles at College level.  Scheduling of the Junior Bursar’s diary and meeting arrangements will be required, using initiative and judgement to anticipate needs in order to ensure the smooth operation of day-to-day activities.  The jobholder will be the main interface for all internal and external communications and will be required to prepare reports and draft correspondence on behalf of the Junior Bursar, acting with the highest level of discretion, tact and confidentiality.

The successful candidate will have experience of working as a Personal/Executive Assistant at an executive level and possess excellent organisational, administrative and problem solving skills.   The ability to work proactively and be able to manage a diverse and changing workload with efficiency and accuracy is essential.
