Applications are invited for appointment to a Temporary College Lectureship in French for two years from 1 October 2023. Particular consideration may be given to candidates with interests in Francophone post-colonial contexts (languages and/or cultures).
As well as teaching within their specialism at all levels of the four-year undergraduate course, the successful candidate will be expected to teach topics across several papers, including Fr1 (‘Introduction to French Literature, Linguistics, Film and Thought’). The successful applicant will assist in supervising and directing studies in MMLL in the College and will participate in the admission of undergraduate students, which includes outreach work.
The Temporary College Lectureship is a full-time position, and will require 12 hours per week of College teaching for 20 weeks per year. The stipend will be £51,917 per annum, together with other benefits of College membership.
