Applications are invited for appointment to a College Temporary Lectureship in Physics for Natural Sciences, tenable for 3 years in the first instance, with a possibility of extension for a further 2 years (maximum 5 years, non-renewable). The successful applicant will be expected to supervise in the Physics courses of the Natural Sciences Tripos, and assist with direction of studies and admissions in the Natural Sciences. Candidates should have considerable experience of teaching students at A Level (or equivalent) or at Part IA of the Natural Sciences Tripos.
The Temporary Lectureship will require 6 hours of teaching per week during the 20 weeks of the undergraduate year (120 hours in total). The starting salary will normally be on Step 5 of the College scale for 6-hour lecturers (£9,520 per annum).
