Applications are invited for appointment to a Temporary Lectureship in Spanish for one year from 1 October 2019. Particular consideration will be given to candidates with interests in teaching and research in Latin American or Modern Peninsular literature and culture. As well as teaching within their specialism at all levels of the four-year undergraduate course, the successful candidate will be expected to teach literature, culture, and film topics for the compulsory Part IA paper SP1. The successful applicant will assist in supervising and directing studies in MML in the College, and will participate in the admission of undergraduate students, which includes outreach work. The Temporary College Lectureship is a full-time position, and will require 12 hours per week of College teaching for 20 weeks per year. The stipend will be £41,248 per annum, together with other benefits of College membership.
