Find out about your subject at Trinity’s Open Days 2025

Prospective students attending Trinity’s Open Days on Thursday 10 and Friday 11 July can meet academics and attend discussions about most subjects offered at Cambridge.

From Archaeology, English and Languages to Natural Sciences, Engineering and Computer Science, Trinity Fellows – leading experts in their fields – will offer overviews of their subject at Cambridge and answer any questions.

Colleges across Cambridge are open for students, relatives and teachers to visit as part of the University of Cambridge Open Days. These are aimed at Year 12 (or equivalent) students and mature students who are considering applying to Cambridge for 2026 entry.

Trinity will be open from 9.30am to 4.30pm for prospective students, their relatives and teachers. As well as subject sessions there will be talks about the admissions process and student life, as well as student-led tours of the College.

In Trinity’s Dining Hall you will find staff and Student Ambassadors available to answer your questions. Refreshments will be available.

Director of Admissions Dr Glen Rangwala said the subject sessions – a first for Trinity and a pilot this year – were inspired by student feedback.

The Open Day Subject Sessions with Trinity Fellows are available on a drop-in basis, no booking required. Some are talks followed by a Q&A, others are drops-in for a chat about the subject.

Priority is given to prospective students; if space allows relatives and teachers can also attend if they accompany a student.

Dr Rangwala said:

These events are a great way to meet the people who will be teaching and directing your studies if you are a student here, and to learn about how Trinity supports its students in developing their interests.
