While studying with us, students have access to a wide range of IT resources at the College, supported by a team of friendly and helpful IT professionals.
In addition to the IT support from the university, our College provides support for networking, computing, and printing across the campus, including:
- Four Computer Rooms: Open 24 hours a day, equipped with both Windows and Mac machines on the University of Cambridge’s MCS programme.
- Specialist Software: All machines in the student computer rooms have extensive specialist software packages installed. For full lists, see:
- Printing Facilities: Each computer room has printing facilities with a 24-hour printer credit top-up service.
- Scanning and Copying: Available in some student computer rooms.
- Wired Connections: Most College student rooms have a wired connection to the College Network.
- Wireless Internet: Available in most communal areas of the College and most student accommodations.
- Student IT Support: An advisory service is available through an email helpdesk, with drop-in sessions running for an hour each day during term time.
- College Intranet: Helps you find College-specific information while you are a student here.
- Specialist Software for Disabilities: We provide specialist software for students with disabilities to assist with their studies.
- Library Computing Facilities: You can also use computing facilities in the Library.
