Trinity students Polly Shorrock and Isabella Fiske-Harrison are rowing and coxing for Cambridge this weekend. Polly is in seat 5 of the Women’s Reserve Boat, Blondie, and Isabella is cox of the Lightweight Men’s Boat.

Blondie will race Oxford’s Osiris from 13:36 on Sunday 13 April, in between the Women’s and Men’s Boat Races.
The Lightweight Boat Races take place on Saturday 12 April, the men at 13:45 and the women at 12:45.
This Sunday will see the 170th Men’s Boat Race and 79th Women’s Boat Race. Olympian Sarah Winckless, who has rowed in the three Boat Races, will become the first woman to umpire the Men’s Boat Race. This year marks the 10th anniversary of the women’s race moving to the Tideway.
Apart from rowing, Polly and Isabella share Classics in common: Polly is pursuing an MPhil and Isabella is in the third year of her BA.

Polly said she was really excited to race in Blondie this Sunday.
I think it’s going to be really fun. The fixtures that we’ve done they’ve all been really exciting races to row and we’ve been improving every time. So I’m excited for us to put out the best race this season on the day.’
The Boat Race 2025 will be broadcast live on the BBC, coverage starts from 12:20. The Reserves Races and Lightweight Races will be available post-race on The Boat Race – YouTube.
