Trinity College Chapel exists as a place of Christian worship, prayer and inquiry in the College. All are welcome to attend our services including members of the public.
The Chaplains always welcome student involvement in services and social activities regardless of belief or association. Find out more here.

Freshers’ Service. All members of the College community, and especially Freshers, are warmly invited to the Freshers’ Service in Chapel. The short service is a first opportunity to hear the College Choir and to meet the Chaplains. Soft drinks and pastries are served in the Ante-Chapel immediately following the service.

Act of Remembrance and Mattins. This solemn service begins with the laying of wreaths and the Last Post. Please be seated by 10.45 am to keep a period of silence before the service begins.

Sung Requiem Eucharist for Remembrance Sunday.

Gather in Chapel to observe the two-minute silence for Remembrance Day, with short prayers.

Advent Carol Service. A highlight of the year, join the College Choir and a brass ensemble for this special candlelit service to mark the beginning of Advent. Members of the College community are invited to reserve tickets – details will be circulated in November.

Bridgemas Carol Service. Join the College Choir in singing your favourite carols. This short service is unticketed and followed by refreshments in the Ante-Chapel.

4.00 pm
Christingle with Carols. An interactive service for children of all ages at which we build our own Christingles and sing classic carols.
Thursday 24 December
3.30 pm
Christmas Eve Crib Service. A service for young children at which we hear the Christmas story and assemble a nativity scene in the Ante-Chapel.
Friday 25 December
9.30 am
Christmas Day Eucharist. A festive service of hymns, readings and Holy Communion with a sermon by the Dean of Chapel.
