Your welfare during the COVID-19 outbreak

Trinity College is committed to protecting the health, wellbeing and safety of its students, staff and Fellows.

The COVID-19 outbreak requires us all to take sensible measures, according to government guidelines, to safeguard our diverse community.

This is of course a difficult time and the College understands that staff, students and Fellows may be worried about family and friends, in the UK and around the world, and have concerns about their immediate situation.

We would like to reassure you all that the College’s top priority is your welfare.

To that end we have put in place measures that offer the best ways of protecting staff and members of College, and preventing the spread of the coronavirus.

All College events are cancelled until further notice. Trinity is closed to all visitors, including alumni and academic visitors to the Wren Library, until further notice. The College gym and Old Fields are shut.

Essential services at the College are operating. The Porters Lodge is staffed 24/7.

Students in residence with any concerns or queries can contact their Tutor. Detailed FAQs are available for students via MyTrin (Raven access).

This email is monitored by the Junior Bursar’s Office and Tutorial Office and all content will be kept confidential.

Any student, Fellow or member of staff who is self-isolating should email covid@trin.cam.ac.uk

Members of College and staff are urged to follow NHS advice and be aware of Public Health England guidelines. In a rapidly-changing situation this guidance is subject to change (links from this page will update automatically) and you are encouraged to check this advice regularly.
