Navigating the early stages of your post-university career can be daunting. Perhaps you already have a career plan and are simply seeking some advice from someone who has been down that road. Are you thinking about going for a promotion or making a move somewhere new? Or maybe you are at a crossroads and could benefit from speaking to someone who has been through the same and successfully landed in another career.

Trinity is committed to supporting our alumni by creating networks and fostering supportive relationships. Our alumni community is full of brilliant people in a variety of industries who are willing to guide and help their fellow alumni. Engaging with each other is not just a way to give and receive advice; it’s also a chance to build connections that could last a lifetime.

We have now completed our third hugely successful student-alumni March Mentoring Month. We now return for our second Recent Graduate programme, designed to connect recent Trinity graduates with professionals in their chosen career sector throughout October.

Who is involved?

This programme, supported by the Trinity Business and City Association, is particularly useful for those in, or seeking careers within;

• Investment banking, private or public equities
• Law/Legal Services
• Business Consulting
• Government & Policy/ Civil Service
• Finance/Economics
• Entrepreneurship

We have a great range of alumni from various professional backgrounds, so please don’t hesitate to apply if your interests are not listed above.

How does it work?

Duration: The mentoring programme will run from 1 October 2025 until 31 October 2025.

Commitment: We understand that you may have a demanding schedule, so meeting times may be flexible, but we advise that you and your mentor commit to 3 sessions over the course of the month or beyond.

Format: Mentoring can range from a quick response to a careers question via email to a zoom call or a meet-up over a coffee to learn from your mentor’s experience – it’s really up to you!  At the end of the month, you can choose to continue or end the connection depending on whether you still feel you have more to gain.
