As Head Porter, my role is to contribute to the smooth running of Trinity College through security provision and welfare awareness, with the team of 33 Porters.

I manage the Porters’ Lodges at Great Gate on Trinity Street and at Burrell’s Field on Grange Road, which provide a 24/7, 365-day-a-year service to all College members.

I am responsible for security, oversee the post and parcel system, and assist with any student matters in consultation with the College Dean and the Tutorial Department, including regarding welfare.

Before joining Trinity in 2023, I was the Head Porter at Magdalene College Cambridge for four years. Prior to this I spent 15 years in Cambridgeshire Constabulary including as Custody Sergeant, Staff Officer to the Deputy Chief Constable, Authorised Firearms Officer and response Sergeant.

I was a student at Staffordshire University where I studied Law.
