Trinity on the Backs

Returning for its fifth year, we hope that Trinity on the Backs gives you the opportunity to share Trinity with your family and perhaps even inspire the next generation.

With Trinity’s iconic brown bread ice cream, family photographs, colourful deckchairs, magical face painting, a circus skills workshop, giant bubbles, a science show, garden games and much more, there will be plenty for everyone to enjoy.

College will be open to alumni throughout the afternoon, with the chance to relax on the Backs, enjoy live music from our jazz band, take part in a range of entertainment and activities for all ages, and explore the beautiful Wren Library.

The Punt Bar will be open all afternoon serving drinks, strawberries and Trinity’s famous brown bread ice cream, and you are warmly encouraged to bring your own picnic to enjoy on the Backs and around College.

Please note that children must be supervised by their adult at ALL times.

11:00-5:00pm – Punting
Punts will be available to hire for self-punting at no additional cost (30 minute slots, ID required).
A first-come, first-serve queuing system will be in operation. Chauffeured punts at own expense.

12.00-4:00pm – Wren Library

12:00-3.30pm – Family Photographs
Pre-booking required (fully booked)

12:15-3.15pm – Explore the Fellows’ Garden
Pick up an access card from registration.
