Overcast skies and drizzle couldn’t dampen the spirits of the 193 Trinity graduands presented for their degrees by Trinity’s Praelector, Nick Denyer, on 22 June 2016.
As well as Bachelor of Arts, awards included four-year degrees: Master of Law and Master of Corporate Law, BA and Master of Mathematics, BA and Master of Engineering, and BA and Master of Science.
Rosemary Jolley, a longstanding Tutorial Secretary at Trinity, said the poor weather was rare – in 20 years, she had never seen rain on graduation day. Lunch though, kept to the seasonal script: students and their guests enjoyed salmon, followed by strawberries and cream, under the cloisters in Nevile’s Court.
Then it was time for goodbyes – and the start of a whole new chapter.
Photos of graduands taken by Jet Photographic will be available to view online shortly.
