Inspirational photographer needed

A creative photographer with experience of training is needed for an exciting arts project in 2017 that seeks to reveal what has inspired students, staff and Fellows at Trinity College.

The five-month initiative will culminate in a public exhibition in May Week 2017, featuring portrayals – in photos and words or numbers – of the figures, places or objects that have inspired people at the College in different ways.

Pairings is part of the programme celebrating 40 Years of Women at Trinity. Each Pairing will comprise a photograph and accompanying short text.

The lead photographer will develop a coherent artistic approach to the initiative, provide training workshops for participants, assist with taking photographs and advise on reproduction of the final images.

Trinity Fellow, Dr Clare Walker Gore, who is a member of the Pairings Advisory Group, said:

Pairings is such an exciting project and offers a unique opportunity for a creative photographer to work with different members of our diverse College community, to explore its rich history and take advantage of its many beautiful settings.

It is estimated that this freelance opportunity will involve 10-15 days’ work at Trinity between January and May 2017. Applications are due by 16 December and interviews will take place at Trinity the week beginning 9 January 2017.
