Wren Display: Hamsa i Jami (Five Poems by Jami)
Hamsa i Jami (Five Poems by Jami) Persian, transcribed by Abdullah ul Hardy, 1531
The Wren Library at Trinity College Cambridge, designed by Sir Christopher Wren, has been visited by the public since it opened in 1695. Today the coronavirus crisis has meant the closure of this wonderful building. We have put together a series of visual displays to give an idea of the some of the books and manuscripts kept in the Library.
The Library is currently digitising many of these treasures and making them available through the Wren Digital Library.
