Things are hotting up – literally and metaphorically – for the First and Third Trinity Boat Club May Ball, which takes place this evening.
The heat and humidity contrasts with the showery weather of 2016 for the highlight of May Week, which this year features DJ sets by Charli XCX and Barely Royal. May Ball Presidents Raniyah Qureshi and Alex Butcher said:
Following a triumphant 150th anniversary in 2016, the First and Third Trinity May Ball 2017 Committee have been hard at work setting up for what promises to be a night to remember. With the best acts, tastiest food and a very special champagne bar this year promises to be one of the best May Balls to date.
Ball goers are advised to keep hydrated given the hot weather and water will be available in Great Court prior to entering the Ball, as well as umbrellas to shield the sun.
