We are delighted to welcome our Guest of Honour, Dr Maciej Lisicki, applied mathematician, fluid dynamitist, and founding President of the Trinity College Postdoctoral Society.

Dr Lisicki completed his PhD at the University of Warsaw before spending nearly four years at The University of Cambridge, affiliated with the Department of Applied Mathematics and Theoretical Physics and Trinity College, where he played a pivotal role in establishing Postdoctoral Society and served as its inaugural President.

Maciej leads a research group at the Faculty of Physics at the University of Warsaw, working at the intersection of soft and active matter, complex systems, and biological fluid mechanics.
