Handyman
As a handyman working at Trinity, I see design and creation in what others might see as the mundane. In the first photograph, eight white anchored globes hang from a rope in a storage room, hidden from daylight and gathering dust.
To me, they look a bit like space helmets in a children’s toy shop – but they could be Pop Art sculptures, or a contemporary art installation. In the second picture, you can see the round bench in Blue Boar Court. It is a popular seating area for students, a little oasis for butterflies and bees. Viewed from below it has a celestial, ethereal, evanescent beauty.
