Lynne Pepall
My defining moment at Trinity
I would like to contribute two photos from 1976 when the first cohort of post-graduate women (numbering 13) were accepted into Trinity College. In the photo is a critical mass of this cohort, seven of us are on the river, rowing as the “first” 1st and 3rd Women’s boat. It was here that many defining moments of our first year at Trinity happened.
In the first photo the women are Ann Ewing, Lynne Pepall, and Elizabeth Bruce. In the second photo the cox is Rob Kerwin, then we have Ann Kelley, Fiona Heseltine, Deborah Kramer, Jane Hamblen, Angela Baart (who we borrowed from Sidney Sussex), Ann Ewing, Lynne Pepall, Elizabeth Bruce.
